Central to the work of EHOP is the prayer room, inspired by David’s tabernacle (1 Chronicles 23:5; 25:7), where 288 singers and 4,000 musicians were employed as their full-time occupation to minister to the Lord and serve the community. We desire to see EHOP’s prayer room ministry grow in order to see 24/7 live prayer and worship to the Lord.
At EHOP we equip singers, musicians, and intercessors in a form of team ministry we call “harp and bowl”. The harp (God’s songs) and the bowl (the prayers of the saints) are combined in our 2-hour prayer meetings or prayer “sets”. The result is joyful, unified, powerful God-centered prayer.
Scripture teaches that night-and-day prayer is crucial for the fullness of God’s power and purpose to be released (Luke 18:7–8; Isaiah 62:6–7). We are offering Jesus unceasing adoration, while contending for justice and the power of the Holy Spirit to be manifest and bring transformation in every sphere of society.
